Disaster recovery assistance now available for Tropical Cyclone Marcia…
Loans of up to $250,000 (for eligible primary producers, small business owners and non-profit organisations) and Essential Working Capital Loans of up to $100,000 (for eligible primary producers and small business owners) are now available for those affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Marcia. Farm Finance Concessional Loans Scheme applications closing soon…
Producers experiencing debt servicing difficulties have until 30 April 2015 to apply for concessional loans of up to $1 million under the Farm Finance Concessional Loan Scheme. The recent interest rate cut to 4.34% for these loans provides further incentive for producers to submit their applications before the application deadline. Apply now to realise savings of up to $150,000 over 5 years.
Drought Recovery Concessional Loans Scheme now available…
Severely drought-affected farm businesses can now apply for a Drought Recovery Concessional Loan to access low interest finance to restock or plant crops or pasture. Applications close 30 June 2015 so eligible farm businesses are encouraged to visit http://www.qraa.qld.gov.au for more information.
Producers use low interest loans to improve sustainability…
Producers have been using the Queensland Government’s low interest Sustainability Loans to implement long-term improvements to their farm businesses. Interest rates for Productivity Loans are currently fixed at 3.72% for one year, 3.76% for three years and 3.88% for five years (subject to change 1 July 2015), making these loans a very attractive option for Queensland producers. Apply now to make sustainability improvements to your farming business.
