Turf Farm Soil Retention

Turf producers place a high value on their top soil and water.  The simple reason being that they do not wish to waste the richness of that soil that has built up over a number of years with nutrients and fertilisers they have regularly applied in producing a quality product to market. Responsible turf producers do not wish to waste any of their soil or water that may occur through irrigation or overland flow from heavy rainfall. The producers have ensured that the profile of their land provides run off into their own water storage and dams for reuse.
