TURF COST CALCULATOR TOOL – RELEASED TO TURF QUEENSLAND “MEMBERS ONLY”

As members of Turf Queensland you will be aware that the association has been working on the development of a Turf Cost Calculator (TCC) economic tool for turf production on farm use calculating individual farm costs by turf species for the three main areas of production, along with delivery and installation.

This tool has been reviewed by a number of members and is now released for use by our total Turf Queensland membership base only at this stage.

To access this tool that is password protected you need to visit the Turf Queensland website www.qtpa.com.au  all the appropriate details are included on our website including the password to open the Turf Cost Calculator.

You will have already received your Turf Queensland membership Login and Password details that will allow you to access the “Members Only” section of the website.  Once in that section on the left-hand side is the access to the Turf Cost Calculator.

Please read the “Introduction and Disclaimer” carefully as it is important.

We are sure you will gain tremendous benefit from completing this economic tool which will take time in its initial development by you and your staff.  Once it is done it is just a matter of updating on a regular basis.

We are currently investigating the delivery of “TCC Training Workshops” in Cairns, Townsville Wide Bay, Nambour and Brisbane, at which the expert developer Bill Johnson, will be available to assist turf producers in completing the tool.  The dates and locations of these workshops will be advised accordingly together with what you will be required to bring to these workshops.  These workshops will have a maximum of 6 companies and extra workshops will be provided if the numbers require it.

We are also investigating the potential of gathering information and developing up a number of benchmarks for the Turf Production Industry with the assistance of all members on an anonymous/confidential basis.
