New outbreaks of Fire Ants have been detected in Obum Obum and Moorang in SE Queensland.

This area is in the Scenic Rim towards Kalbar. The new outbreak is outside of the current Fire Ant zones and indicates how they move about freely.

As growers and installers the turf industry has a Biosecurity responsibility, and you are the eyes and ears on the ground both on your farms and properties where natural turfgrass is being installed in regards to this pest incursion.
