Lawnfest 20th October

TURF QUEENSLAND SUPPORT AUSTRALIAN LAWN FANATICS.

On Saturday, 20 October Turf Queensland attended a field day promoted as LAWN FEST in conjunction with the Australian Lawn Fanatics at the members farm GOTURF.

Turf Queensland had a manned stand and was seen as great support promotion for our members and the retail residential more community.

The day saw a line-up of lawnmowers attempting the Guinness Book of Records attempt for the most mowers mowing the lawn which I believe was achieved. It promoted not only the various lawn mowing machinery but also harvesting and large mowers were demonstrated by Goturf. It was pleasing to see women, men and children involved in the residential lawn mowing activities.

A large number of companies displayed their products and experience which was well received by those who attended.
