Overall, workplace incidents are estimated to cost the Queensland economy over $6.2 billion each year.

Inspectors work with businesses to develop and improve systems of work to prevent people from becoming injured or ill as a result of their daily work activities. Inspectors visit workplaces to provide this assistance in a variety of ways.
