TURF QUEENSLAND BOARD 2016-17

At the recent Turf Queensland Annual General Meeting held on 20 October the following people were elected as representatives of view the members of the Queensland turf producers Association trading as turf Queensland.

It was pleasing to see that we had 3 regional representatives and a number of younger generation turf producers on the board.

The President Anthony Heilig thanked the outgoing TQ board for their work and time in representing and gaining recognition for the turf production industry in this state and moving it forward as a recognised industry peak body for turf producers in Queensland. Many TQ board members have spent considerable personal time representing the members on the board over a number of years and is greatly appreciated. Some of these are also represented on the Turf Australia board and committees so it is a big commitment in time and effort.

The New Turf Queensland Board for 2016 -17

• Treasurer/Secretary: Greg Banff – Golden Finch Lawns Lockyer.

• Emma Burstall – Turfbiz Wyvernhoe.
• Mick Newton -Bay turf Gladstone.
