Managing Turfgrass in a Fire Ant Biosecurity Zone

As of 1 July 2016 the Biosecurity Act 2014 (the Act) and the Biosecurity Regulation 2016 (the Regulation) came into effect.

There are three fire ant biosecurity zones in place to control the movement of fire ant carriers. To view a map of the zones, visit www.daf.qld.gov.au/fireants
