New Drought Assistance Package

The Queensland Government is offering additional assistance measures to Primary Producers affected by drought.

A new drought assistance package is available from January 2014. This is in addition to the drought assistance package announced on 30 May 2013.

This new assistance package includes an expansion of existing measures and a range of new assistance to help farm families, farm businesses and farm communities affected by drought.

Drought Relief Assistance Scheme (DRAS)

Primary Producers in a drought declared area  or who have an Individual Droughted Property (IDP) declaration are able to apply for the Drought Relief Assistance Scheme (DRAS) .
