ANNUAL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS USAGE

From a Turf Production perspective this is an interesting comparison as ‘Plasterboard’ would be utilised mainly in commercial and residential housing, with ‘Premixed Concrete’ for all construction including commercial and engineering works. ‘Plasterboard’ has decreased and ‘Premixed Concrete’ increased over the past three years (housing down, infrastructure up). It is however pleasing to see a lift in the concrete commodity in 11-12. Even though concrete is heavily utilised in infrastructure and commercial construction it is the base for our residential construction.
