Extra Activations on Sunshine Coast Flood Support QRAA

It would appear that the Federal Government has changed the boundaries on the Sunshine Coast to include the whole of the Local Government Area as activated for Category C and D under the NDRRA (see QRAA link below). This will be good news for those primary producers who weren’t originally included in the activation area.

Please find following the media release announcing grants have been activated for Chinchilla small businesses, as well as an extension to some part declared areas being Toowoomba, Somerset, Sunshine Coast, Goondiwindi and Western Downs. There is also some extension to the declared Southern Downs area but no further detail as yet.

There is not an official activation at this point in time therefore the QRAA website has not been updated.
