Managing Forklift Safety & Traffic Management Seminar
The Australian Industry Group is running a series of seminars to assist industry to better manage their safety risks. We invite you to attend an upcoming seminar in April on
Managing Forklift Safety and Traffic Management.
Does your business rely on the use of forklifts on a daily basis?
Are you meeting your forklift safety and traffic management obligations?
Many business sectors have forklift and traffic management hazards: from manufacturing to
construction, transport, logistics to warehousing, and many more. Over the last few years we have seen a large number of prosecutions relating to forklift incidents. Companies need to ensure compliance with the legislative requirements and maintain profitability by protecting against the impact of costly lost time injuries.
Many industry sectors have forklift and traffic management hazards, which could turn into incidence.
Can you afford these costs and injuries to your business?
The Seminar
Managing Forklift Safety & Traffic Management Seminar will give you practical information on how an effective forklift and traffic management program can control and safeguard these hazards before they turn into injuries.
This seminar covers a great cross section of issues relating to forklift safety and traffic management. We have presenters from the Regulator, Ai Group Safety Team and Adaptalift Hyster/Crown. We also have Michael Nealer from the LUEZ (Loading, Unloading Exclusion Zone) project presenting on the government funded initiative to assist businesses to implement effective controls to prevent drivers and other people from being injured during the loading and unloading of vehicles. It reflects the outcomes of engagement within workplaces across the supply chain industry in identifying the ‘do’s’ and ‘do not’s’ of effective separation of people and equipment in respect to loading/unloading activities.
