QCA – Seqwater Irrigation Price Review 2013-17

The Queensland Competition Authority is conducting an irrigation price review in relation to Seqwater’s nine irrigation tariff groups for the purpose of recommending irrigation water charges to apply from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2017 (the four year regulatory period).

Submissions

Stakeholder submissions received to date in response to Seqwater’s initial Network Service Plans and other submission (received by 31 May 2012) are available on the Authority’s website at http://www.qca.org.au/water/SEQIrrigPrices/.

In addition, Seqwater’s revised Network Service Plans and other submissions received by 6 September 2012 are also available on the Authority’s website at http://www.qca.org.au/water/SEQIrrigPrices/. Changes have arisen due to the Authority’s information requests, modifications to renewals balances and the inclusion of water meter replacement costs in Seqwater’s estimate of cost reflective prices.

Draft Report

The Authority’s Draft Report is due by 30 November 2012 and will draw upon the above information.

At that time, submissions will be invited on Seqwater’s revised NSPs and other submissions and the Authority’s Draft Report, which will contain recommended draft prices.

Stakeholders will also be invited to participate in further consultation meetings on the Draft Report, to be held by the Authority during December 2012.

Submissions will be due on 18 January 2013 .

Final Report

The Final Report is scheduled for release by 30 April 2013.
