QCA – SEQWATER IRRIGATION PRICE REVIEW 2013-17

The Queensland Competition Authority (the Authority) is investigating the irrigation water prices to apply to seven Seqwater water supply schemes from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2017.

On 13 February 2013, the Authority completed its second round of consultation which focussed on the Authority’s Draft Report and Draft Prices.

A summary of the issues identified by stakeholders at those meetings, is now available on the Authority’s website at http://www.qca.org.au/water/SEQIrrigPrices/

Any comments on these summaries, or advice of additional issues, would be appreciated by 11 March 2013.

Further submissions are expected from Central Brisbane River, Mary Valley, Pie Creek and Cedar Pocket Dam tariff groups by 11 March 2013.  These schemes requested an extension of time due to resourcing constraints or the recent flooding in Gympie.

In addition, submissions received to date in response to the Authority’s Draft Report, have now been made available on the Authority’s website (refer to link above).

The Final Report is due on 30 April 2013.
