Safety advocates available to visit your workplace

WHSQ has a number of safety advocates available to visit and present at your business. Our safety advocates are people who have a very personal story to tell of how a workplace incident has affected their lives. By visiting your business, they will:

• Increase awareness about the importance of work health and safety
• Highlight the personal impacts that an injury can have on workers and their families
• Prompt discussion about work health and safety
• Encourage employers and workers to develop work health and safety solutions together.

Queensland businesses can request a safety advocate to visit a workplace free of charge.

A safety advocate will attend any style of event from annual staff BBQs to regular workplace meetings.
